Foreign students coming from the countries outside of European Union are invited to participate in discussions on studies and living in Latvia.
The discussions are a part of project “Compass for Living in Latvia for Students – Third-country nationals: Education and integration” (Nr. IF/2009/1.5./15) implemented by the non-governmental organisation “Workshop of Solutions”.
“Workshop of Solutions” hosted series of discussions for students – Third-country nationals in 2009. As a result an information material “Compass for living in Latvia” was published, responding to most common questions about foreign students’ life and studies in Latvia.
The project is supported by the European Fund for the Integration of third-country nationals and the Latvian state. Association “Workshop of Solutions” assumes full responsibility for the content of publications and events.
The goal of the project is to promote integration of the students – third-country nationals in society of Latvia by providing them with necessary information, opportunities to become a part of social networks and by facilitating the communication

Invitation
Within a project "Compass for living in Latvia for students - Third-country nationals: education and integration" (No IF/2009/1.5./15) association "Workshop Solution" has developed an integration program and workshop / discussion materials for students - Third-country nationals, as well as has modified the content of information material "Compass for Living in Latvia for students - Third-country nationals".
“Workshop of Solutions” met with foreign students and approbated developed materials, as well as did a survey on foreign students’ life in Latvia.
"Workshop of Solutions” team would like to share with you both materials and to exchange views on Third-country nationals’ integration problems. We assume that part of the program can be used in work also with other target groups.
